based on a Japanese Sharp Ace air-rifle, with special brass detailed Harper micro-rifled blacked 24in. barrel, brass tunnel fore-sight, brass dovetail mounting blocks to the breech, bolt-action single-shot operation, brass detailed blued pump-housing, re-modelled beech three-quarter stock inlaid with stylised brass game-birds, contrasting wood heel-pad marked 'HARPER CLASSIC', moulded brass trigger and trigger-guard bow, additional brass 'stop' for the pump handle and fitted with a leather basket-weave sling, in a baize lined walnut full-length rifle-case and including a letter from Steve Harper valuing this item at £1500 in 1988
